Dig Day aftermath...
by Joe Bowman
Sunday, 24 February 2008

Tonnes of dirt was threw around today, some put to good use and the rest needed some work... But eventually we ended up getting at least 2/3rds of it done!

Heres a pic of the new rollers coming out of the berm.....

progress

Testing went ok, a few spills over the berm as it g'd out pretty bad in the apex, but it shot you up and over the roller easilly giving you enough speed for the next row of rollers.

Next up, break for a bit of lunch. Messy git.

dissy

You've got to be on your game for the 2nd straight to carry your speed into the final section, which i think is going to have something a little idfferent on it.... think step up/down... Maybe that'l get done this week....

Heres an overview, doubles to the left and pump track to the right. It doesn't give you a real scale of the size at all... Last straight is replacing the right hand doubles...

overview

We al got pumped form digging so we headed up the hill for some shots. Jeff got some killer ones using his new fancy remote flash thingy... Check em out.
