Day 1 Whistler diaries.........
Sitting in an arrival lounge listening to the cries of unfed, un happy children could drive even the most excited of us crazy. The kid I was sat next to, somehow managed to get his foot stuck thorugh the gap between our seats…. This took four men (including me)  to prize apart the seats to free the little gits foot. Sheesh….. Poor bugger, I could hear a trigger happy doctor with a scalpel getting twitchy.
I’m sat here on the plane right now typing this, onboard flight globe spans’ (plug 1) finest aircraft. A classic journey is unfolding as I speak….
I’m turning the brightness down on the keyboard for this bit…. On my right we’ve got two slightly obese young girls longing for a nap, uninterrupted by the family behind…. Who in themselves are an interesting bunch, they seem to have a talking baby which won’t shut up.
The guy to my left seems a bit too keen on my 5:10 tee (plug 2), but is keen on the idea of a year in Whistler, won’t be giving him my postcode…
Behind me is a 6ft 7 monster (Yes he’s already told me how big he is) who can’t stop complaining about my bag being under the seat….
“Breaking news: The in flight entertainment in my half of the plane has broke. Great.”
Food next, I’ll get back to you about that in a mo.
“The toilets are broke in my half aswell….. I say no more.”
Good news though, the entertainments running, but me and the terrible two next to me don’t have any audio, ahh well it’s only Kung Fu Panda. Only 3 hours to go now, got some unreal shots of Greenland, still looks pretty cold if you ask me, non of this global warming malarkey yet. Speaking of being warm, I’ll be sweating next week along with another million people my age all over the country, who will either be jumping for joy or the trainlines….
Thank God for Whistler.
