A review of whats been going on in 07/08 and looking forward into 09..... It’s the time of year when people like me and Sam aregetting driven up the wall. Exams, coursework, revision and decisions. It’shard to get away from it all, having too much to think about can sometimes evenput you off doing the things you love most, whether it be going riding or justout and about with your mates. It’s this time of year where too muchpressure could make or break whereyou end up in life. It’s scarywhen you look around and see that everyone has their mind made up on wherethere going on what they want, then you look at yourself and think, shit.
Sam’s off tocollege to make his millions and I’m off to Canada. Scary thought leavingeverything behind after 18 years, but its got to be done. The major questionthough Is, will my Mum flatten the garden? Could we see a bowling green overthe road now there pushing on a bit? I’ll be keeping an eye out… Tim and Quickyfrom nocycling.com are heading out this Saturday to Whistler in search of chairlifts and wives… Hopefully they’ll have a warm floorready for me to kip on when I get there... Either that or maybe a certain proriders house if we get lucky… It’s gonna go two ways out there. I’ll either bethere for the long haul or you’ll see me back blogging from the shire in twomonths. I’m hoping for the first one. Cash is going to be super tight, we allknow how much bike part can cost in resorts. 40 quid for a tyre anyone? Nodidn’t think so. The glory might be seeing a complete overhaul soon, eitherthat or it be might be seeing itself on ebay very sharpish. There’s some killerdeals on bikes out there, you can pick up a fully built, top spec bike forabout £1800 quid. I’ve heard taking as much sterling out as possible is theyway forward. With the current way the exchange rate is, your pretty muchdoubling your money! Up until weall set off on our different ways we’ve still got one last summer. There’s afew things I’d love to do before I head off to the land of Celine dion.Cracking the top 5 in Juniors would be unreal, maybe not possible though… Ifyou haven’t tried it yet, bridge jumping is the way forward, when the suns outnothing beats it. If oyur passing through, Chatsworth is sweet for a dayaswell. Looking at thesite we’ve had a really good year in terms of content and getting you guys onthe site. We’ve had an interview with Tom Braithwaitte, started racephotography, articles in Wideopen and even a visit from Dirt Mag. Look out forthe up and coming issue, I reckon it might be in… Looking forward I think we’llsee a few changes happening around the place. Definitely more regular andoriginal content. RSS feeds are for wimps. Hopefull some fresh produce this summer with new designs on the tees and hopefully some new styles, whether it be knickers for the missus or shirts for the podium. Keep an eye out
