This will be the first of a little guide to some of the new features on the site.

First up is the Events section.

(Note:  You'll need to register on the site to use Events.)

If your going riding, going to a party, or any other event that you think other people should know about, then you should use Events.

You can give details like venue, time and a map for directions.

So to get started click the Events button on the bar at the top of the page. This will give you a list of events that other people have submitted. To submit your own click the 'Submit New Event' button.

On this page you can put in the details for your event. If your event is just on one day then leave the Event Date(end) box blank. If the venue is not already in the list then click the 'Submit new location' button.

If you want a map for your event just put in the post code of where it is and one will be made on its own.

Give a description so people know what your on about then click the submit button at the bottom.

After you've done this your event will appear on the front page where people can see it. Clicking the 'Attend' button on an event submitted by someone shows that you are going. You can see events you are attending or have attended on your profile.
